"We began exploring EV charging after repeated requests from our staff and physicians, and it quickly became clear that this would soon be an expected amenity for our broader community. While affordability was a concern at first, we were fortunate to have generous donors step forward to fund the project—and they’ve been thrilled with the outcome.

After speaking with several vendors, ESG stood out. ChargePoint’s brand recognition and scale gave us confidence, but it was ESG’s deep expertise that truly set them apart. Their team demonstrated a strong understanding of both city and state regulatory requirements and patiently guided us through multiple site revisions. We ended up relocating the chargers three times to optimize accessibility—and ESG remained collaborative, flexible, and solutions-oriented throughout.

 

The entire experience was efficient and professional. ESG worked seamlessly with our internal engineering department and met all deadlines. During the installation we kept our donors informed and notified physicians of the parking renovations.

 

Since going live, we’ve seen steady, month-over-month growth in usage, as reported through the ChargePoint platform. We’ve also opened the chargers to residents of the adjacent apartment complex to increase utilization after hours. Personally, I know the day will come when I struggle to find an open charging spot myself—which is why I’m already planning to activate ChargePoint’s waitlist feature and explore adding DC fast chargers in our public parking areas."
